Do I need a permit for an extension?
It depends on the size and location. At the rear of a house an extension is often permit-free, but there are exceptions. We'll check this for you and handle the application if one is needed.
How long does building an extension take?
The build itself usually takes a few weeks, depending on size and finish. You'll get a concrete schedule after the site survey.
Are new foundations needed?
Almost always. An extension has to carry its own weight and connect to the existing house. We determine exactly what's needed during the survey.
What does an extension cost?
It varies considerably: dimensions, facade finish, doors and windows and the level of finish all affect the price. That's why we don't quote figures online — you get a proposal based on your situation.
Is the work under warranty?
Yes. The warranty terms are set out in your quote, so you know where you stand in advance.
